Introduction:
Welcome to the Hybrid Fitness Nutrition Manual! I want to first of give you credit for opening this book. Like the saying goes, “Half of life is just showing up.”
However, personally I don’t want to enjoy just half of what life has to offer me. I want to enjoy EVERYTHING life has to offer me. And of course, I want the same for you. There are so many opportunities, journeys, and excitement that comes along with life, and in order to take advantage of them, we have to do the most important thing first. Take care of our bodies.
A mentor of mine, Tai Lopez, says the “good life” consists of 4 things:
Health
Wealth
Love
Happiness
I don’t think health was listed first by coincidence. Our bodies are our “tools” that we live our lives through.
Think about it, would you rather build a house with a brand new, shiny, welded hammer forged of steel?
Or would you rather build that house with a brass, rusty, 60 year old hammer your great grandfather passed down to you?
I would take the new hammer.
Think of the house that you build as the experiences you enjoy through life. It takes a solid hammer (your health) to build those experiences.
Before we get started, I want to you to think of all of the reasons you opened this book in the first place.

Write that down on a piece of paper, and I’ll see you in the next chapter.
